HALF-ORCS
The half-orc is the only other widely
recognized crossbred race to live on Habololy besides the half-elf. A
half-orc is far more rare than a half-elf, but enough exist that they are
commonly known. While Half-Elves have had an easy time integrating as a
whole into the other societies of the humans and elves, the Half-Orcs are
often outcasts and wanderers. By the time a half-orc has been alive for
twelve years, it is more likely than not that he has left his parent and
is on his own in the world.
A half-orc is clearly recognizable as such. They are broader
than the average human in the shoulders and waist. Their hairline starts
farther back than the average human and their lower jaw juts out a little
farther than the average human’s does. Their hands are thicker and their
skin is ashen in color. Half-orcs have only dark colored hair, while
their eyes are never blue and occasionally red. It takes a great deal of
effort for a half-orc to disguise himself well enough to be mistaken for a
human or an orc.
For reasons no one has ever been able to discover, nine out of
every ten half-orcs are male.
