Solaris

Solaris grew up in a small town on the great plateau and lived the life of a farmer for the better part of his childhood. Solaris always felt that he had a greater calling in life, he later learned that this might come from an angelic blood line that runs through Solaris' family. He remembered stories from his childhood that his father told him about the great deity Hemator. Solaris listened to the stories and felt drawn to everything that Hemator stood for. Solaris also felt the Council deities had wrongly persecuted Hemator and with this persecution, did an injustice to the people of Habololy; forcing them to give up the healing powers of Hemator, which were so desperately needed in the world.

Solaris then took a vow to Hemator and decided to give up worldly possessions and live off of her power. Hemator rewarded Solaris greatly for this vow and gave him great power to promote the religion of Hemator on Habololy in an attempt to bring it back to its former position. Hemator recognized Solaris for all his deeds and sacrifices, but one sacrifice stood above the rest. Solaris and his companions have come across a Stalker of the Dead, who was seeking to destroy his companions. Solaris offered up his own life for his the safety of his companions. Hemator seeing this great sacrifice rescued Solaris at the last moment from the stalker and bestowed the title of Saint upon him, with all the gifts and responsibilities that come with it.

Solaris has the ability to recognize people who are dying similar to the deathwatch ability but used for the purposes of healing.

Solaris is constantly surrounded by a 20' radius double strength circle of protection from evil and a lesser globe of invulnerability

Solaris is a champion of good. He actively promotes the religion of Hemator and seeks to destroy any evil that threatens Habololy.

In combat, Solaris is a formidable opponent. He often uses his Divine Shield and Divine Might abilities at the beginning of combat to boost his Armor class and attack. When using Divine Might he often converts his full base attack to damage using power attack. Solaris often cast Owl's Wisdom, which also directly effects his armor class and attack bonus. Solaris will always stop battling to heal any fallen companion and often uses the spell Shield Other to protect his companions.
