Kovar
Kovar
grew up on a farm outside of a small town in Yellowia. Early on he
knew that he did not want to carry on the family tradition of farming. As he
grew older he knew he wanted to make a difference, so when he was of age he
left to study the ways of Tyrogatore. After years of study he returned
to his home intent on joining the military. By following the laws of
the land and the creed of his Deity he thought this was the chance to
finally make a difference. The rush of being able to deliver justice
was intoxicating and life was good for a time.
Soon discontent began to surface. King Alawain has deemed to give more
responsibility to the nobles than is customarily granted. Due to this
lax control, justice is not always served. This problem, although not
wide spread, has led to individuals with connections to such nobles or
sheriffs to become brazen in their actions. After witnessing such acts
and not being able to do anything through legal means, Kovar began a
transition into what he has now become. That blatant disregard has
stirred something inside of him and has manifested into an inner rage that
he cannot dispel.
After nearly driving himself insane, he decided to embrace this new found
power, forsaking his Deity and deciding to take the law into his own hands.
What he found are followers of Dedestroyt that shared his new found beliefs.
He gathers information and hones his skill all the while creating a new code
by which he lives. This code is what will keep him alive. No one
is above the law, and when the law fails they will have to answer to him and
Dedestroyt.
After careful planning, including telling his family he was leaving to
become a bounty hunter, he was ready to mete out his justice in the form of
death for one deserving noble and his underlings. While there was no
way to connect him to these acts, he thought it best to leave the kingdom.
He has traveled many places, earning his way as a bounty hunter since he
left Yellowia. These travels have notably taken him to Port
Springs in the dwarven kingdom and to Port Fiam in The Kingdom of Icefia.
In those places he met the world-renowned Daane Silversword and fought to
bring the remnants of the Day Turned Dark cult to justice.

Tactics:
The fact that Kovar is a rather stealthy human would probably serve him well
in combat if he ever tried those tactics. He is impetuous and rushes
in or starts fights when other methods would be preferable. He does
not fear death and is willing to engage in any manner of combat although he
loves to wield his great sword. |
