Equipment: Tom can have any minor magical item at his disposal. He
can have most major magical items at his disposal within a week. The
only weapon anyone has ever seen him wield is a staff.
The current heir to the Magikowner legacy, Tom is little different than
his dozens of ancestors that have provided the same service to Cape
Tolya, Icefia, and Habololy. It is estimated that nearly a third of all
of the magical items on Habololy have passed through the Magikowner
shop.
Tom is rarely seen
anywhere but his shop, although visitors are annoyed to find that he is
not in his shop two days a week. When a customer does talk with Tom,
their conversation is short unless they are speaking of magical items or
money. None know where he goes, or what he does besides run the shop,
but with the magic at his disposal, the possibilities are limitless.
The shop itself is an
unassuming dark brick, two floor building that is one of only a handful
that has stood in Cape Tolya for a millennium. The magic radiating from
the site is blinding to those you can view such things. The interior is
lined with items of all types, none of which will function in the shop.
It has been five centuries since anyone was foolish enough to attempt to
steal from the Magikowner.
The selection is the best
on Habololy, and the prices are whatever Tom wants to sell them for, as
he has little competition. However, his family has long been in the
business and knows how to stay that way. Tom has no allegiances, no
enemies, and no family that has ever been found.
